Here is the challenge. One of our Library trustees has offered to match every donation made to our 2009 Friends Book Fund Campaign up to a value of $50,000. We want to take full advantage of this generous offer!

Think about it – how often is your donation doubled in this way? This is a fantastic opportunity to support the NYPL. If you participate in this challenge – we could buy an incredible $100,000 worth of books. That’s at least 5,000 new books on the Library’s shelves – or 50+ new books in every local branch!
